From design simulations to first prototype tape-outs, the development cycle relies on one critical final step: accurate, reliable test data. Yet today’s tools often fall short — built for older technologies, difficult to use, or priced beyond reach. This gap slows iteration, obscures performance issues, and drives up development costs.
At Atelase, we’re rethinking optical test instrumentation for the needs of modern integrated photonics. Our mission is to streamline the measurement process with tools that are precise, fast, and practical — without compromising affordability.
We're starting with laser noise analysis. Our upcoming instruments are designed from the ground up using advanced digital signal processing and precision opto-electronics to deliver high-accuracy data—quickly and repeatably. Currently supported measurement types include Relative Intensity Noise (RIN) and Phase Noise (Frequency Noise, linewidth) spectral analysis.
We are working with select partners as we develop our first prototypes. If your team is testing lasers or photonic chips and needs better tools, we’d love to hear from you.
